CANADA

CANADA’s IPRI score increased by 0.16 to 8.18 placing it 1st in the NA region and 11th in the world. CANADA is classified by the IMF as part of the Advanced economies group and by the World Bank as a high-income country.

CANADA’s Legal and Political Subindex increased by 0.01 to 8.37 with scores of 8.54 in Judicial Independence, 8.67 in Rule of Law, 7.55 in Political Stability, and 8.71 for Control of Corruption.

CANADA’s Physical Property Rights Subindex increased by 0.44 to 7.91 with scores of 8.17 in Property Rights, 9.41 in Registering Property, and 6.14 for Ease of Access to Loans.

CANADA’s Intellectual Property Rights Subindex increased by 0.04 to 8.26 with scores of 8.1 in Intellectual Property Protection, 9.08 in Patent Protection, and 7.6 in Copyright Protections.
