CHILE

CHILE’s IPRI score increased by 0.2 to 6.93 placing it 1st in the Latin America and Caribbean region and 28th in the world. CHILE is classified by the IMF as part of the Latin America and the Caribbean group and by the World Bank as a high-income country.

CHILE’s Legal and Political Subindex decreased by -0.26 to 6.87 with scores of 6.38 in Judicial Independence, 7.67 in Rule of Law, 5.91 in Political Stability, and 7.52 for Control of Corruption.

CHILE’s Physical Property Rights Subindex increased by 0.74 to 7.5 with scores of 7.12 in Property Rights, 9.01 in Registering Property, and 6.38 for Ease of Access to Loans.

CHILE’s Intellectual Property Rights Subindex increased by 0.12 to 6.41 with scores of 5.57 in Intellectual Property Protection, 9.35 in Patent Protection, and 4.3 in Copyright Protections.
